சங்கடஹர சதுர்த்தி

Sankatahara Chaturthi is a sacred day dedicated to Lord Ganesha, observed on the fourth day after the Full Moon. Devotees observe a day-long fast and worship Lord Ganesha in the evening after sighting the Moon. Offerings such as Modakam, Durva grass, coconuts, bananas, and flowers are made with devotion. It is believed that sincere prayers on this day help remove obstacles, overcome challenges, bring success in education and career, improve family harmony, and bless devotees with wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. Many also recite the Ganesha Ashtothram and Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stotram for divine blessings.
